I teach Spanish 1/2/3, Writing EOC, and Theater Arts here at Penelope High School. Also, I am the OAP Director for the U.I.L. One Act Play. Speaking from nearly 20 years of highly qualified teaching experience at various levels and in diverse educational settings, I am so glad to have discovered Penelope! Two of my own children also attend here and are very happy. The community was very welcoming, and it's only our second year at this school. Every student is noticed here. The small class sizes make it an ideal learning environment for us as teachers to reach individual students, giving them the attention they need to make progress and grow toward mastery of academic subjects offered. I can also say without a doubt that we are a caring, closely knit "family" of faculty and staff here. We work together and go the extra mile to look out for the kids. The communication is easier in our small school setting to help accomplish our team visions. The top priority is helping kids to realize and develop their potential, to discover what they're good at and strengthen areas of need. I look forward to another great school year and continue to put my best into inspiring our students as they turn into Penelope graduates who will go forth and contribute to and better our world on their different paths.
